Heavy Front bumper concerned about front end

Hello fellow ford owners I wanted to share that I added a new custom made front bumper with winch to my F-350 4X4 crew cab 7.3. I'm now concerned about my front end because of the weight. I see bumpers like mine all the time on heavy trucks. What do I do or can I do to help make sure the front end doesnt start having problems? I think I have room for more leafs but I wasn't sure what else I needed to do. all thoughts appreciated !!

Well, your 350 won't have alignment issues like a 250 would with the extra weight, so that's good.

And other than wanting to raise your ride height back up, I don't see a need to do anything. With all the snowplows people put on our trucks, your bumper is probably not half that weight.

Finally - got any pics? ;-) I'll be hopefully finishing my DIY winch bumper/brush guard someday and am always looking for ideas!

Post them so we can all see .

I've got a 1/4 plate bumper on mine. Been there for 2 years and so far so good. Not something I'd really worry about.

It's already got 1k pound engine sitting on it.
I do think another 200 pounds would hurt that much

Pic of the one I built. With a m15000 warn winch and bumper total weight is 448 lbs. I did drop in an add a leaf in the front end to get me back to original ride height. Still rides nicer than the stock bumper and springs by a long shot. Hope to do an RSK here soon in the future.
