Hey Trozei, Great job on the valve cover . Did it start out as a Clifford? It's going to look great sitting on top of that smoothed out engine block. Great work.

Agh looked back a few pages and answered my question , nice work. I put a Clifford intake and valve cover on my truck as well. It takes a lot of work to make their valve cover to look good no matter what you do with it.!!

Salude Rich, and Thank God for some young'ns like Troz.. He restores some of my lost faith in the youth of today. Obviously, his folks did a lot right, and he had the good sense to value what he learned.

Hope yesterday was a good one for you amigo.. and all of us should say a little prayer for Nukeford, who is going under the knife tomorrow, for a new knee... he must have caught kneezels... hope he doesn't get toeleo.

Baja..

Hey hey, boys and girls. Sorry it's been so long. I've been spending more time fixing everyone's cars. The Camaro needed a full ignition system and now a carburetor rebuild, the Audi has been in and out of service shops, I got dad's GMC on the road again for the first time since 2005, and I've also been dealing with my BMW that caught on fire while it was in a shop getting the coilovers installed. Yes, that actually happened. Things have been fun and expensive.

Like Garrett said, I painted the engine. Finally found the free time and the willingness to do it. I didn't end up liking the blue that you guys saw me paint on the cylinder head a while back so I redid everything in Cummins beige and I'm very happy with the results. I can't wait to see this engine back in the truck and running.

I am going to school next month for autobody and paint so I'm thinking what I'll do is leave the engine out of the truck and trailer the truck down to the school and give the body some needed TLC and treat it to a fancy repaint. I'm definitely looking forward to school and can't wait to repaint the truck. Not only will I be doing it myself but it will be inexpensive to do.

Also, Jeff, dad's out of town so I made sure to do some rollers for you. I know you like those. My F100 will have more power than my dad's C10 does and you can damn well bet your *** that I'll roast a set of tires or twelve.

Nice!!
I know what you mean by fixing others crap cans first. Makes for long days and short nights. Kudos for going to school. Paint and body is really fun.

Nice work amigo, I really like the contrast, especially with the au natural freeze plugs in brass.. Sweet.. I'm thinking that it should run as good as it looks.
