95 F250 5.8L manual 4x4. Going through the parts stores I have a selection of moog, dorman, duralast or valuecraft. All are between $12 - $25 each. What are some thoughts on any of these? I like moog but the ones available are nongreasable.

Driveshaft or which u joints? Check ford just for reference. I haven't seen enough difference in the moog/dura last/name-your-aftermarket product to be concerned about a $13 price difference. I am always less concerned when installing a fomoco product.

I use the "Precision" joints from O'Reilly's. They can be greased and seem to be pretty tough.

Dorman's been around 100 years but they're sourcing Chinese and Mexican junk more and more these days --- my mechanics are starting to call them "Dorkman" (for fun).

You can look at it this way --- the aforementioned players competed their suspension, drivetrain hardware in NASCAR, Boeing commercial jets, and new Air Force, Navy, and Marine fighter jets (e.g F-35) competitions and guess who won hands down across the board?

Moog

If it's good enough for the new Boeing Triple 7's and the new F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, then it's probably good enough for your truck.

Sorry...these are for the drive shaft.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll check ford and O'Reilly also I'll see if moog has some with greasable fittings.

I have a brand new set of Precision greasables that I'm about to put on ebay if you are interested. Both joints for the rear shaft. PM me if interested.

Thanks. I picked up the moogs. They are greasable and life time warranty. $35 for both. Took me about 1hour to install.

We use non-greasable joints on our dirt cars since they are solid and haven't been drilled… that hole weakens the shaft.

I just brought this up in case anyone needed the strongest joints available...
