hope this doesn't sound dumb, the last dent i owned was a few years back and my memory ain't the greatest,lol. this piece of trim is inside the cab across the top of the windshield. is it a factory piece? thanks guys.

 

I believe my 79 had that when i pieced it out, not sure been a few years. I haven't checked my 73 to see if it has that trim._-JIM

Yes it is factory. It appeared in '78 or '79 as part of the new vehicle safety laws, I believe.

 

I thought it was at the bottom of glass

 

Some had it on the top only, some had it top and bottom.

 

My 78 has that on the top .
