I got to speak to him not to long before he left us, I invited him to the socal diesel trucks meet and told him about the fuel price. He said he was going to fill up where I told him and head out to Barona for racing.

 

I think seeing Steve's posts and reps is a good thing. Sad that he's gone, but we have the memories of him to enjoy.

I just learned of this. His avator was sooooo cool and his help to others was unbelievable. I always assumed he was a charter member of FTE. I honestly did an advanced search under his user name this morning to see his last post. I wondered where he had been and then stumbled upon this tonight.

Just getting the news,
Steve was an all around great guy, and I was honored just to know him and call him friend of the forum as he was to all he encountered.

 

It was exactly a year ago today that we got the sad news of Steve's way-too-early passing.

Still missing you, buddy.

Steve will always be tied to me, as my dad passed a couple months earlier.
Can't think of one without thinkin' of the other.
Miss 'em both.

 

Didn't want to be the one to bring it up, but yeah, tough loss for everyone on here.... Even a year later.

It seems like it was just yesterday. I had invited him to go to Irwindale and was asking him about the socaldiesel trucks meet and he said he was already leaving for San Diego. I still want to tag him when I fill up and fuel is cheap. $2.59 for #2 @ Petro Bras today Steve.
