Rest in Piece my FTE Brother, and my Prayers are with the Family

 

I will miss Our chats... he lived only a few miles from me, but Our work schedules precluded getting together very often for a beer... We did chat on the phone from time to time.. gonna miss him ! Steve My Prayers go with you and your family.... One of the good ones and a true patriot..

 

Couldnt believe it when i saw this on facebook. I was never lucky enough to meet him, but he never failed to make me laugh with any of his posts. if i didnt know any better, i would have thought he was in his 20s...always messing around with the younger guys on facebook diesel pages with me. Always willing to help me with my 6.0, and give me crap about worrying about it too much too, lol. RIP bro, going to miss you and all of your posts

 

A kick in the gut today, reading this. Prayers and condolences for Steve and his family.

This just seems so fitting for such a great guy.

 

As BigKen said - I never had the priviledge of meeting Steve in person, but he was one of the first forum folks I met (a long time ago) and I considered him a good friend. Steve will be GREATLY missed.

 

I'm so sorry to hear about Steve, I'm glad I got a chance to meet Steve in PA, he has helped me in many ways, Steve you will be missed....... RIP

 

I never know what is the right thing to say at times like this.
I wished I could had a chance to meet him.

I woke up this morning to a random post on Steve's page saying 'going to miss you ect..' I thought surely there had been a mistake or perhaps he had changed jobs. I texted Peter (DuckFan) to see if he had herd anything. He called me a few min. later and told me the devastating news... I first met Steve at the Redding Drags in 2009 (I think) and knew he was a stand up guy from the moment I met him. For those of you that have FB and are friends with him I know you will miss his comical posts as much as I will. As we all will miss his posts here on FTE.

God Bless your mourning family. I believe in Heaven and I believe good people go there and I will be happy to shake your hand once again when we meet there. Mark, Robin and You must be having one heck of a conversation about FORD TRUCKS up there. Rest In Peace.

Sorry to hear about Steve.

His avatar was very unique and Cali cool and because of his avatar I was made aware of Muley.

I never knew him personally or talked to him directly, but whenever he posted in a thread that I was interested in or a thread I had started his wisdom shone through.

Too young.

 

I got to enjoy Steve's company many times over the years. He even volunteered to come help me figure out what was wrong with my truck when it through a rod. He will leave a deep hole in my life.

 

Steve will be missed. I talked to him a time or two, and occasionally a PM. But I really enjoyed his comments in the forums.

I pray for his wife and family. Things will be tough for a long time.

 

I don't know how many forums Steve was on but, the two working threads here...in his honor...are a true witness to the kind of great guy Steve was.



Some folks just never are forgotten. Steve is one of those folks.
