64 f100 4x4 frame question

I went to look at a f100 4x4 last night and the frame looks odd to me. I have never seen a f-100 4x4 before and I don't really know what the frame is supposed to look like. The truck has a wood flat bed on it and the frame is straight, not curved (or arched) over the rear wheels. It looks just like the one on my 64 f-250 4x4 with a flat bed. Did ford make the f-100s with anything other than a regular bed? I am going to make the guy an offer and I need to know what kind of animal I am looking at. Any info at all would be helpfull.

thanks
Aaron

Do they look like this? I believe all the frames from 61-64 are the same and slight mods were made in 65-66.

64 f100 4x4 frame question

I am beginning to think that it has something to do with it being a 4x4. Is there anyone out there with a 4x4 that can help me out?

frames

I have had a 61 and a 64 4x4 and they both have a flat frame which is the same as a 1 ton frame, I think it is something to do with it being a 4x4.

I have a stock '64 4X4 292 V8 4spd manual

The Frame is NOT arched over the rear wheels. I am the second owner of the vehicle and the first owner is my great uncle (88 years old). This is the way it came from the factory.
