Mummert Heads on Albatross

It's a 292 bored to 301, zero-decked block with an Isky E4 cam advanced (crank retarded) 4 degrees for torque enhancement. Mummert heads, 1.54 rockers, Mummert intake and Holley 1848-1 carb. Putting an exhaust on it will help with the idle! Dylan video'd me tweaking it and checking the ignition timing curve.
Dylan has been helping me work on it. He's 14 and getting his learner's permit soon. He drove a tractor and my brother's Power Wagon during logging on the family farm this Summer. Yes, he drove a crash-box, towing logs.

I have a 6.80:1 rear in my 55 F-600 right now and a 5.80/8.10 2-speed axle sitting on a pallet! If you were in the NW, I'd have a spare T-98 for you!!
You putting Rams Horns on it?
Cheers,
Rick

I had to change my engine mounting to "side" mounts so the "Horns" will fit quite well. I also had them ceramic coated!

I do think that this is the nicest, best combination of an engine build that I have done so far. I once built a scrub 400 SB that would reliably lift the front end on my little '72 Nova and I get more "*******" from this thing than I ever did from that. I expect that I could probably twist up the drive shaft like a string if I'm not careful with the foot. I can't hardly wait to get the exhaust done and get it inspected so that I may drive it! John Mummert had once stated that he designed these heads so that they could even work for somebody's little 301. That they do.
