I've got an '87 F250 with the 10.25 differential. I've had it in and out several times and have reused the pinion lockpin (lockbolt) each time even though the manual says to replace it. I'm getting ready to pull the axles again, so I decided to replace the lockpin. None of the local parts places have it or can get it. They show one for the 8.8 diff, but nothing larger. (1) Will the one for the 8.8 fit the larger differential? (2) If not, where can a person find one of these?

The local dealer won't give you the time of day if you're driving an old vehicle (I had already checked with them). But a friendly parts man in a dealer about 50 miles away gave me the ford part number. With that, I've had no problem in finding one. Thanks for your reply.
