Have three tire choices for a decent price but don't know which is a better tire for wet/dry, little to no snow. 275/55/20. All about the same price.

Which is the better tire for FX4 EB CC SB?

a) Toyo Open Country AT
b) Pirelli Scorpion ATR
c) Cooper Discoverer HT plus

I've had Cooper tires. Started out good but got really slick in rain and snow with age, well before the tread wore away.

I have Master craft Avenger with about 15,000 miles. I have noticed no performance decline.

I've owned many Cooper tires in my past and have had nothing but success with them.

The Pirelli ATR stands out as one of the crappiest tires Ford has ever put on a truck at the factory.

Have had Toyo Open Country ATs in the past ...
  • EXCELLENT wearability.
  • GREAT traction. *Especially in the snow.
    .
    Only issue was ...
  • road noise. *Them babies could sing.

I'm a huge Cooper fan and have them on all my trucks, so that's my choice.

Another +1 for the Coopers. I run AT3s. I love them. They had pretty much everything I have thrown at them so far. Good luck with what you find for your ride.

Did you notice a decline in mpg with them? A. Urey of mine put them on his F250 6.7L and said he noticed almost a 2 mpg difference.

owned 3 sets of PIRELLI Scorpions on 2 different trucks...no issues. Very smooth highway ride from Canada to Florida annually, no problems in heavy snow in Pennsylvania. So unless ur a redneck and need to show off some fat treads, go for it! ;-)
