Hey guys I was wondering if any of you were in one of thurston counties search and rescue branches and could give a run down on what all is required, what it entails. Just general details that a nub like myself would like/need to know to get involved. I already volunteer with OPD but have always been interested in S&R operations and learning how to confront and deal with those types of situations. Mind you im not completely ignorant. Im certified with general medical and cpr training and have a basic amount of outdoor experiance(I say basic meaning light experiance over the course of 20 years).
