It does but that's part of the game. Not my fault although I was blamed for it. So technically he didn't buy the vehicle so he can opt out at any time. That's what I'm afraid of.

Nice, what did he get?

I know how it is Devon. The last 2 trucks I have bought were quick and easy at the dealer. My current truck I bought when I had taken my previous one in for routine maintenance. Ended up buying it right off the showroom floor.

We picked up 7 steel SCBA tanks that were no longer needed. He is going to be turning them into lamps as a side project.

Give him a followup call tomorrow. He got cold feet. Better yet, drive the truck to his house/work. I had a guy do that to me once in a Z06 Vette. I was so impressed that the guy with 1 leg could drive it!

Nice. I guess they failed pressure test or were out of date?

They were still good but no longer needed Tim. The fire company had replaced them with new lighter air packs. Figure almost 21 lbs for the steel air packs vs about 7-8 lbs. for the new composite tanks. Also a longer run time on the composite tanks because they can handle a higher pressure vs the steel tanks. Usually around 4500 to 5000 psi. Which means you can have 30-45 minutes in a bldg vs at most 30 minutes.

Ill be interested to see what he makes out of them. Just make sure they are fully purged before he starts cutting!
