Hey Shaun.

 

Howdy Tim. How are you doing today? Been a very wet day here. Over 5 inches of rain since 0800 this morning.

 

No rain here. Very dry. Wildfire dry.

 

Thats not good Tim. They are saying more rain tonight. And possible isolated tornadoes. Last check on the rainfall totals. 6.28 inches so far today. Alot of flooding in the area and we are under a flood warning.

 

Thats a lot of ran. Like need an arc amount of rain. Plus tornadoes, yuck.

 

Yeah. We have had a rather soggy day here. Parts of my backyard were starting to hold water on the surface because the ground couldnt absorb anymore water. I figure in some spots in my yard the water was 2 inches deep. The street was starting to flood. At least 4 inches on my side of the street when I left for work. The other side had water out of teh gutters and covering the sidewalk.

 

Might be time to invest in flood insurance!

 

Not for us Tim. My backyard is flat. The front yard is a hill going down towards the street.

 

There you go. Get your kayak out and hand 10!

 

Pretty much Tim. Had to go through the water just to get in the truck today. Luckily the boots are water resistant so the feet stayed nice and dry.

 

Nothing is worse than cold feet.
