Good Morning Everybody!

I'm gonna get packed up here and get over to my dad's place to assess the issue. Hopefully it's nothing serious.

Good morning all! My interview is in an hour and 45 min or so. Thoughts are encouraged!

RC, I'm stoked for you to get that bump on the road!

Alan, I hope it is minimal for ya. Enjoy time with your Dad.

KC Chiefs game tonight gents and Tiff! Preseason, but still something!

Got the blue led lights ordered for the dash clusters in both Red and Bandit. I should have enough to do my son's Monte Carlo SS as well.

Ordered the speedometer needle paint for all my cars as well.

Not sure if I will get something done on Big Red today or not. Hope so.

Have a great day gents.

Good morning all. Dang Alan, hopefully it turns out to be something less involved. Jeff, I think it's 1000 miles of pleasure driving per year and that excludes to and from car shows. If it already has a Missouri title, you don't even need an id/od exam or inspection. You do have to keep a log in the glove box but I haven't used the one in the convertible yet and it's been licensed for 7 years. It's a one time fee of 25.00 plus the fee they charge of like 3.50 at a fee office. You don't have to renew them annually since they're non expiring.

Same reason I did it on the GTA. Proof of insurance, paid personal property tax for the year and ownership of the vehicle at least 25 years old is all that is required.

Evening All!

Well, we made it to my dad's house after we got rained out of Sea World. We did manage to have fun, but we got cut short of seeing the major shows.

I did a couple diagnostic tests to figure out where the noise was coming from. Sure enough, it was the water pump howling. I just got it back together with a new timing belt, tensioners, idlers, water pump and engine mount that I found was broken. It's much quieter now and everything seems to be ok. I threw a set of front brakes on my dad's car while I was waiting for parts.

I am SO glad I found it when I did because the water pump was starting to leak when I took it apart. There's no way I would've made it home like it was. It "only" cost $270 to fix it now, as opposed to over $1,500 easy, if it let loose on the interstate.

Anyway, one last time to eat out and we're on our way home tomorrow.

good to hear it was not nothing to serious alan, always good to have peace ofmind while on a long trip.. i didnt get much done today..i took apart my A/C unit and cleaned it up real good. then found the blower motor had a short so i found another motor for it in my junk pile.. now i need some fittings and i should have a/c in the old f100.. i went ahead and put the windsheild back in without the trim.. i'll pull it back out when and put the trim on when i paint the truck this winter.. got my new ignition switch. headlight switch and brake light switch in the mail, so i guess maybe tomorrow i can get them installed, and take out the temporary toggle switch's i had in it
