Hello all, these stump grindings are heavy, especially with all the dirt mixed in. I have 'em all spread out drying a bit.

I was able to unfreeze the rear driver side parking brake cable, but it doesnt work well enough to allow the lever in the cab to operate still. Went ahead and ordered new rear cables for both sides from rock auto, was under 15 bucks for both!

Also made another 2x4 support for under the bed, this one goes across where there isn't any metal support above and rests tight on the frame. simply pounded it across with the hammer, now my bed is pretty solid! Gonna change out a few more bolts as well, tighten up some others and the bed should be done.

I've been spraying every nut and bolt on the front end with PB every other day in preparation to to do new radius arms mount bushings and put in my adjustable camber pieces up front, and also replace any other worn out parts. My steering is pretty sloppy so I gotta see if I can tighten up the box and check the tie rods.

Sounds like you are giving that truck some well deserved attention, Kyle!

Just got back from Rentschler Feld, we were working the pregame festivities. Pretty boring for the most part, but the last hour was more eventful.

Not a bad way to spend the afternoon, eh Tom?

I could probably do breakfast on Sunday as well.

Yeah, all the little odd & ends! Front end stuff will be a big job. Also found a crack in the frame, on the bottom side by where a cross member mounts, luckily its between the two bolts so at least the cross member provides some support. The metal is worn thin. Not in a hurry to address it but eventually when I totally tear down the truck to paint the frame, and repaint and re do everything else, I'll fix it then!

Any of you guys ever had to repaint metal railings? Whats the best way to get the old paint off, I've sanded some before, but it took FOREVER and I'd like to avoid that gain. Was thinking some kind of stripper?
