Smoke from valve cover?

Hi. I have a small amount of smoke coming from the opening where, what I think is a breather tube, after changing my valve cover gaskets. Any ideas as to why? Thank you!

Smoke coming from the breather means the engine is producing more blowby than the PCV valve can take in. Either the PCV valve can't pass, or the rings are worn. That wouldn't have started with the valve cover gaskets having been changed.

If it truly started with the valve cover gasket change, then maybe some oil got somewhere and is burning off. One or the other.
