I'm ShamelessMT here and Sean in the real world.

I've got a 1976 F250 4x4 with a '77 F150 body
I use the hell out of this truck. It's my daily driver/tow rig/offroad toy.

Almost too many things done to it to list at this point:
390 Bored 0.030 over
Cam
Edelbrock carb
3" exhaust with Flowmaster series 40 muffler
Optima red top
Rebuilt C6 with Stage 2 upgrade
B&M ratchet shifter
True power steering conversion
4:10 gears
Aluminum radiator and trans. cooler
Pioneer deck w/ iPod control, (2)8" subs, GT wheel
60 gallon fuel tank in bed(under toolbox)
37x12.5x16.5 Irok Radials on American Racing Outlaw II wheels
Just to list a few.

I'm currently working on a custom dash for it also. See the thread here https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/8...ld-thread.html if you haven't already.

This is my girlfriend posing in front of the truck near Big Sky on the move back to Bozeman. Trailer is mine too, but that's not really a vehicle.

I also have a 1977 Honda CB750F SS that I'm turning into a cafe racer/rat bike. Here's a pic of it about a month ago. It's kind of in pieces right now...

And the girlfriend's bike ('78 CB550) which I bought for her for $100 and am also turning into a cafe racer. It's in pieces too...

Plus over the 4th of July I'll be fetching a 1972 Suzuki LJ10 that I'm sure I'll get to working on someday. No pictures of that yet.

I have a lot of projects and never enough money to get them all done. I'm sure everybody has an idea what that's like...

Hello

Hey I'm 93MTRANGER and am from Kalispell. I have a '93 Ranger OHV 4.0L V-6 with 125,000+ miles and it is my daily/only driver. I just joined so I will hopefully get some pics up to share. I have taken out one of the two cats and replaced to stock muffler with a Magnaflow muffler(18" I think) with a slightly larger pipe from muffler back. I would like to talk to some of you from Montana. Seems like a few of you are from the east side but west of the divide has some good trucks too . Well I hope that DasCheckers will approve me to join.

Hello Montana

I joined FTE a few months ago when I upgraded my 90 F250HD 4x4 diesel to a 05 F350 CC,4x4 dually, 6.0ltr. Wow what a difference in technology in 16 17 years makes. My 90 only had 72K original mls. Sold it to my son who has it at Ft. Lewis WA. He is a ranger there and will deploy a second time this fall to the sand box. I have a slide in Lance camper and a 6x12 enclosed Wells Cargo trailer for motorcycles, lawn chairs, coolers and what ever I can't get into the truck. I live in Billings, MT. originally form Missoula. the liberals got that so I moved to the east. I think I did request a membership in this chapter but not sure I have any conformation on that. Thanks for the invite....Tim

Hello all.
Live in AK but my 68F250 4x4 is in MT.
It is basically stock except for the 390.
Was going to move it up but that is not going to happen now.

Lived in Hays,Havre,Roundup,Billings and East Glacier.
Lots of family down there.
Current rig is a 97F350 4x4 with 460 and a manual here in AK.
But has a blown motor.

Miss working the cattle and aunts ranch.

Hey all,
Just found this site. Looks cool. Hope to find some good info for my truck. Name's Rick, aka Pipin'. I drive a '48 F-1, she's pretty much stock, accept for the 12 volt wiring and a visor(got to get more pics done). Running a 226 flat six, 3 speed. Wanting to upgrade her some time just not quite sure to what yet. Got some plans brewing.

Hi-I'm kenmt from Miles City.I own an auto repair/Harley Davidson repair shop here.I grew up on my Dad's ranch south of here where Fords and Internationals always and still are the only brands you'll see.
Dad gave me his 1977 silver w/ blue stripes Explorer F150 4wd in 1993.It's a ps,pb,4 speed, side tool box 351 miserable long box.I repainted it after repairing some rust under the rear taillights but there is absolutely no body filler in the cab, doors or hood.I couldn't find the Explorer stripes so left them off.My somewhat dubious claim to fame here is I believe I was the first person to swap a ZF5 speed into this application. It's still working great-I think searching martinb might bring up the thread.I've got a 1992 EFI 460 all ready to swap in-should be starting on that soon.
I'm currently rebuilding a swb 71 2wd for my helper's son.Some of the Fords I've owned:
1979 Lariet 2wd black,460
1976 Hi-boy 68 Lincoln 460
1978 F150 4x4.

I currently have a 1948 8n restored Ford tractor and a 1995 HD Dyna Wide Glide,also working on a 1952 panhead project

I'm MT-F250 and I live just a few miles outside of Billings.
I have a:

1990 Ford F250 4X4
1995 Ford Ranger Ex Cab 4X4

and my most recent addition:

1979 Ford F250 Ex Cab 4X4
400 engine C6
4" lift w/35x12.50x18 Toyo Open Country M/T
A/C, Cruise, Tilt

I'm learning a lot about restoring the 1979 from this forum.

Hey everyone, my name is Kyle and I live in Great Falls. I have a 2005 F250 Crew Cab short box 4x4 with the V10. It only has 18,000 miles on it. I love it! Stainless steel handles, chrome tailgate handle and mirror covers, Billet grill, toolbox and painted to match pocket style bushwacker fender flares. I have the new muffler (cherry bomb extreme) and stainless steel exhuast tips (4" x 18")but looking for someone to install it cheap

Hey Ken, I was just re-reading this and noticed that this was you, Kenny Minnow from Miles City. I'm Steve Reinhart, originally from Miles City. I just thought I would say "Hi". I'd like to check your truck out after you put the EFI 460 into it. I have been contemplating doing something like that with my '79 F250.

Regards,
Steve

Good to hear from you Steve.I should be doing the swap within the next month.I've aleady got an oversized[38] gallon fuel tank to replace the stock tank [ behind the axle],then I can remove the one behind the seat.I plan on taking lots of pictures and keeping everything written down so if you decide to do the swap,I'll certainly share all my info.
I was fortunate to find a complete EFI 460 w/ all accessorys plus wiring, fuel tanks, lines, etc. for $500.I leak-down checked the motor and it's gotta be super low-mileage.[It has a Motorworks rebuild sticker on it].I just bought a MW's rbld for a customer's van-$2200 for the long block.
See ya-Ken

I am best knows as Blondie & yes I am a girl. I am doing this for my husband as he will not get on the computer. We have a 1972 Ford F250, I do have pictures but not sure how to upload to this format.
He bought the pickup in Sept. 1971 and is the original owner. I know he had the engine rebuilt a couple of years ago, but I really don't know much except it rock when it idols and uses a lot of gas when he puts the pedal to the metal. Sorry I can't give you more information than that.
I need inforamtion on a tonneau tarp but can't seem to find where to look.
Thanks guys
Blondie

Hello everyone.

I'm in Western South Dakota and have the affliction of Ford ownership.

I just picked up a 1975 F-150 today. Will be parting it out as it has a bad auto tranny and some rust. Keeping the 360 engine and maybe the chrome off the sides, it is in perfect condition. Also the windows are good, any value to pulling them off?

As for what I drive...
Winter: 1988 Ford F-350 Centurion 4door Bronco, 7.3 diesel, auto and four wheel drive.

Summer: 1986 Ford F-350 Centurio 4door Bronco, 6.9 diesel, auto two wheel drive.

Trips (on interstate): 2005 Gulfstream 28' E-450 motorhome, 6.0 diesel, auto.

Trips into rough country: 1979 LazyDaze 18' E-350 motorhome, 460 gas, auto.

Tool truck: 1988 Ford E-350 Ambulance, 6.9 diesel, automatic - Heavy duty running gear, geared very low!

Got a few parts vehicles out back, several broncos including an XLS (black chrome). Both mid 1980's. Also a running chassies 1990 F150 with the 300 six, 5 speed 4wheel drive. 1984 club cab F-250 4x4 fou speed with the 6.9 (bad body) and a 1986 F-250 2wd with the 6.9, 4 speed.

I think that's it.

Cross posted from South Dakota chapter intro to hopefull meet others near Western South Dakota
