i was in myrtle beach and i saw a police ranger full paint lights and everything i am wondering what motor its got , is it the 4.2L,
4.0 ,4.6L thanks for any help and if its the 4.2 will it mount to a 96 ranger 3.0 5speed tranny?

 

i've never heard of anything bigger than the 4.0 in a ranger. i'm sure it's the 4.0 sohc motor if it isn't the 3.0
