Hey guys just posting an update now that I've had the steps a few months. I've been having issues with the powder coating chipping and after this weekends Rocks to Riches event most of the powder coating was gone from the front sides of each step.

Some I had expected some chipping since they are powdercoated but it looked like the steps were sand blasted clean. Luckily Iron Cross has a 5 year warranty on the steps so I contacted Iron Cross about it last night and got an email this morning saying they would be sending me a new pair.

Probably a super-dumb question, but is it too late to get in on this?

Not to late... well it is, but isn't. This was a great deal in the beginning but Iron Cross dropped their prices on all their stuff while I was setting this up so there are better places to get them now.

Thanks Apoc. The thing I cannot tell is, are the prices I am seeing everywhere for just ONE side? Was this deal price per side or for a pair?

It is for the pair. If you see a price that is insanely low then post it up because if it is for one we will let you know, and if it is for both and they have more than one after you get yours I will get mine

TruckCandy is probably still the cheapest place to buy the HD style running boards (that everyone in here has installed) at $395 w/ free shipping and it includes all hardware. The model you are looking for is: 414-9986

The bars I see on most other sites aren't the HD version.

Truckcandy FTW. **** carid, they made promises they didn't keep. Part of the deal setting up group buys is the person doing it cannot get anything in return (better deal, commission) for setting it up, but I also had my eyes on the Iron Cross front bumper at the time and Wolffe said he would make me a deal on that instead once everything was set-up. Everything was done and then her went back on it and said the best he could do was $15 off. Seriously I **** you not, $15.
