She looks like an honest old truck. I think you can't really go wrong taking your time with it. I'd get stuck in. Good luck, but most importantly: Have Fun!

I agree that the truck looks pretty good from the pictures. What you discovered after you started working on your truck is quite common. How far you want to go all depends upon your vision, your time, talent & treasure . . . and your determination. Since the patina'd look is in right now you probably can't go wrong with getting your truck fully functional and driving it a bit before starting on your body rust. AX is correct about doing the work right. Eastwood does make a complete line of products to deal with rust.
