brake light issue

hey fte guys im having a problem with brake lights they dont work tried everything so far ive replaced a couple of fuses pedal switch and the bulbs for good measure any other thoughts 04 super duty 6.0 and alittle back story not sure if related i tapped into the over head lie o meter to run my radar detector and gps and the other day i noticed that wires going to the unhooked radar dectector where melted together and the fused poped so unhooked all of that replaced the fuse and the lie o meter came back online but still no brake lights anybody have the wiring digram or something to work with anything would be help i did a search with no luck thanks again

i looked up by the pedals and i didnt see any chaffing and cked back by junction and the third light doesnt work either

Sigh Did you check the nearly 20 feet 0f wireing between the cab and the rear of the truck? Did you check the 3 connectors at the back and their sub harnesses?
When you checked the fuses ford uses 2 for the brakes right and left and seperate ones for turn signals.
A quick google search came up with 9 different diagrams.
