Fusible Link Wiring Diagram - 1990 F150 with 351W
After much consideration and input from the forum I've decided to go ahead and replace my fusible links with a fuse block. I'm a marine electrician by trade so am well aware of the various issues of wire size, fuse Vs fusible link Vs circuit breaker considerations, start load Vs run load, etc., so please leave the issue of whether this is a good idea or not out of the picture.
I've found a great combo fuse block relay block which will allow me to expand my electrical system for things like driving lights, ham radio, etc. it is a sealed unit with sealed wire inserts. For those interested, I'm putting in this unit: Sealed Mini Fuse & ISO 280 Mini Relay Panel with Bussed Inputs.
I'm hoping somebody (I'm thinking of you Subford) can provide a wiring diagram for my truck which shows which circuits get their power from the fusible links off the hot side of the starter relay.
A more general question, can anybody recommend a source for complete wiring diagrams for this truck? I've tried the usual suspects and come up blank. Although to confess I haven't check in the last few months.
Thanks all.
