Thanks Guys
I'll be popping in, I don't think you ever really finish one of these old rigs. I've probably got about two more weeks before the 70 is ready to hit the road, but it sure seams odd to be able to see the end getting this close. Looking forward to that first road trip. I'll be glad to post a few picture's every now and then, got to show off any new dance steps.

One of the trim rings is off the front wheel, but I have the set that was on the 70 before I put the new wheels on that I'll probably put on it. I need to take the time out to paint the trailer, when I built it I put the primer on it and never got back to the paint.
On another note, after running the numbers and looking at some of the things on the car it is a 64 1/2 Mustang.

Would a new set of Baby Moons look better, I have a set still in the box and NO OFF BRAND markings on them. 64 1/2's are all titled as a 65, but the date code is 10F or June 10th, and the 64 1/2 has several one year only features kindly like the 67 F100.

Like, they had generators, 65s had alternators. The generators caused the batteries to run warmer so Ford put air vent holes on the right side of the radiator for cooling of the battery. 64.5s had a larger voltage regulator and also a horn relay mounted right beneath it. Speaking of horns, they were inside the engine compartment, 65 saw them moved to the location behind the grill (easy to spot on a car you don't want to touch, like when it is not yours.) The brake light switch was also wired directly into the front part of the master cylinder. The front edge of the hood was also not rolled under until 65.
Too bad your truck is still a little way to being done, I would have love to see it at the supernats next week!

Looks like a really nice Mustang.
I used to have a white '66 fastback. I currently have a '68 Mustang and a 2003 Mach 1. I've owned the '68 Mustang for 33 years (since high school).
If your Mustang still has the single reservoir MC, it would be on my hit list to replace it with a tandem MC, if it was mine. One ruptured wheel cylinder, brake line or failed MC, with the stock single reservoir suicide MC on the '65/'66 Mustangs, and you loose ALL brakes.
The '87-'93 Mustang 2.3L single diaphragm brake booster or, the '87-'93 5.0L Mustang dual diaphragm brake boosters makes a really nice power brake swap on the pre-'67 Mustangs.
This is an '87-'93 Fox Mustang 2.3L brake booster and a '99-'04 SN95 Mustang 4-wheel disc MC I installed on a friend's '65 fastback. (I had converted the 8-inch drum brake rear end to 10.5" solid rotor rear disc brakes from a '94-'04 V6/GT Mustang, with adapter brackets I designed).
Prototype SN95 rear disc adapter brackets I had machined by a shop.
'87-'93 Fox 2.3L booster and '96 Ford Windstar 4-wheel disc MC I installed on another friend's '65 Mustang coupe. (I installed 11.250" ventilated Mk VII rear discs on this Mustang in 2001, also with adapter brackets I had designed).
