The truck is really starting to come together now. With exception of charging the system the heat and air is now complete.

The outside of the truck is complete with exception of the hood, and I am expecting to get my seats and door panels back from the upholstery shop any day now.

Randle I always look forward to your updates. That is a fine looking truck. Where did you find the rocker panel vinyl/sticker? I like that front roll pan/bumper piece, I really need to try something like that with mine. At the very least I need to narrow my bumper about 3inches from what it is now.

Thanks for the kind words. I ordered the stripes from Graphic-Express.com

The front pans really aren't that hard to make as long as you have a welder. I would be glad to step you though it if you decide to try one.

You really do nice work.

Question: I saw back on like page 3 where you first introduced the front valance, but I guess I didn't catch that fact that you made that from scratch???
Did you use the stock rock shield for the top part and just created the front part before installing the driving lights?

Yes the top and ends are the factory sheet metal. For the front I cut the top rail off of a scrap bed turn it upside down. Here is a picture of the first one I made when it was just tacked up, maybe it will help explain.

That picture made it much easier to understand and also makes it look much easier to do.

The end piece that turns the corner, where did that part come from?

That is factory, it should be on your truck. It's behind the end of your bumper so you may not notice it.

I'll have to look. I was thinking that the corner piece with the compound curves would be the most difficult part of this...

I decided to rework the gauge cluster and add a tach, I finished that and got it installed today. I guess now my next job is behind the seat. I know about what I want to do to close it in and mount the speakers, I just have to figure the details of building it.

Looks great man. I can't wait to see more.

What is the black spot next to the wiper switch?

Thanks Guys for the good words.
That black spot is a push button. I put a intermittent wiper switch out of a late 80's model in and I never could get the washers working off the switch so I put the push button in for that.
