Fuel additives

Hi guys so on my way home with my new truck I think I got into some bad fuel it made one of my o2 sensors act up what kind of additives to clean your systems do you guys use?

Its a 2011 with around 77,000 so no warranty its the 6.2 gasser i need to change my signature I ran through half a tank then added gas from a good station and the light went off.

One quick note; Never pump gas when a delivery truck is delivering. All of the "bads" in the bottom of the storage tank are being stirred up.

you know i never thought of that one i was almost empty and stopped at a shady truck stop also my other mistake was I was so excited to be paying less then diesel for the first time in 5 years that I bought midgrade in hind sight thats probably older then low grade LOL

Techron, SeaFoam, Or Lucas Injector Cleaner are my preferred. If you got bad fuel a new fuel filter might be something to consider.

Another trick is to put a cup of denatured alcohol (metho) into your tank, petrol motors only, it absorbs the water in the bad fuel and will burn it off.

Its a well used trick in the outback where fuel sits for ages in drums with water condensation in the drum.
