The 40 and 41 1/2 tons are more car like and obviously very different from 40-41 tonners and larger. When you get to the 42-47 1/2 tons, they look to be the same hood and grille as the bigger trucks. The front fenders have bigger openings on the big trucks. I have a '47 2 ton and a 47 1/2 ton, they sure look the same but havent measured. Rear fenders for a tonner are very hard to find and no re-pops, same with the running boards. Maybe all 4 fenders from a half ton? The bed for a tonner is more like 8' if I remember correctly.

Thanks and after looking at some of my notes and drawings, you are correct, the tonner bed in 41 was 8' long. That may be longer than I want, going with 1/2 ton bed may be my best option.
