1999 to 2007 tow mirrors on 2008?

Hello,

I bought a 2008 F350 with the paddle mirrors and I need to get some towing mirrors on it so I can see around my toy hauler. I keep seeing mirrors on ebay and rockauto.com that look like the previous body style - 99-07 - mirrors, rounded corners, etc - listed as fitting 2008s and up.

I'm talking about this style:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Towing-Manual-Side-View-Mirrors-Left-Right-Pair-Set-for-Ford-Super-Duty-Truck-/310549795540?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item484e35d2d4&vxp=mtr
(On rockauto it's only the power ones that are listed like that, I'd need manual ones):

Do these actually fit 2008s and up, or is it just a bad image/bad ad/etc ? If they do fit, the question is, are the 2008 square style that much better than these? I've had the rounded style on my previous excursion and F250, but never had the square style. It seems the square style is much more expensive on Ebay, and some people go through the trouble of retrofitting them to earlier superdutys...

I'd need manual ones, so the power wiring/stuff doesn't impact/worry me. Thanks in advance,

I would personally go to 1aauto and get the 08+ tow mirrors, they are massive compared to the 99-07 mirrors it's like going from the paddles to the tow mirrors jump but it's going from 99-07 to 08+ Tow mirrors. You will be much happier and it will look better IMO.

Have a look here

Super Duty Service is a sponsor and has access to some good mirrors.

He might drop in and say HI. He is a good guy.

Those look good, but they're power ones. I have the XL - keys wheels and floor mats edition, no fancy power things. I'll probably get the 250 dollar ones from places like 1aa or rockauto or whichever. It's good to know the square ones are bigger.

Give him a PM and he may have something in that
catalog of his. I know that he has access to more
that he has not listed.

Depends on what you mean by "fit." Do they bolt onto the doors, yeah, as far as I know every Super Duty (and Excursion) mirrors from all years bolt up- the doors are essentially the same.

Now if "fit" means bolt up AND plug in (if the mirrors need electricity), then no- unless you do some wiring work to make things work.

Buy a set of 08+ power mirrors from Anthony, have them shipped to me, and I'll send you my old mirrors and a Benjamin.

I just added tow mirrors to my 2000 F250 from 1aauto. On my porch in under 4 days.

Seem to be great quality. Gasket and fit was perfect. Mucho better than paddle mirror.
Feels like I have a real truck now. LOL

My ears r burnin!!!! Lol. I can definately get the 08 manual mirrors,,, no power at all!!! I will need to double check the price,,, but I know I can get them,, I've sold quite a few of them. They do mount up and look completely factory,, except the fact that its 08 style on an earlier model. Lol. I can also get the manual 99-07 curved ones also. Just FYI,,, I have great pricing,,, on ANY part,,, ANY vehicle!!! Not just super dutys. However,, I try and push only the stuff people want. Feel free to call us anytime and we can earn your business. Btw ,,, thx guys for supporting us!!! Very cool!!

Thank you for your order. If anyone has questions about the tow mirrors that we carry, you can PM me.

We are also now offering a lifetime warranty on our tow mirrors. Details can be found on our website within the product description.

Get the 08+ style. The early mirrors are the worst. I'd rather have the dog ear xl mirrors then a 99-07 any day.
