Well just put a woods tranny and new turbo in. Got about 500 miles on both. Driving home noticed it smoking off and on and wasnt so bad, going up the freeway it then began to smoke horribly. It seemed to back fire and blew an ic boot off. and was still smoking like a chiminey. This morning went back and it had a puddle of oil/diesel underneath it. Is this an injector hung open or a turbo issue? Turbo was professionally rebuilt by a shop with a wicked wheel. Truck has a DP tuner, other than that it is stock. Truck has 83k on it.

 

Could be the Turbo since it was just rebuilt and reinstalled. Check the Seals.

 

Check your oil level. If the white smoke was oil, you'll see evidence on the dipstick.

 

thanks guys ill get to it in the morning when i get off work. Hoping after 8k in parts the motor didnt crap out on me.
