I thought this same thing and man was I wrong with that 250. And yes both 3V motors. That F150 was snappy and quick whereas the 250 was anything but. Basically the empty F250 acted/felt like the F150 did with a mid size trailer. Because as stated the F150 could be near 2,000lbs less.

I would say the V10 and V8 have similar towing attributes but the V10 does it with much less drama the majority of the time depending on trailer weight.
