Cutting out

I have a 07 f250 fx4 with 111000 miles on it. When it is loaded either by having a trailer on it or by it having to lug from a stop to get moving to back up a hill or if I stop to put it in 4x4 then it cuts out. If u knock it in neutral and give it gas it is fine but it lugs down and sputters out at Rpms of 1300 or less some of the time. It is a5.4 liter any ideas on what I need to change. I have ran injector cleaner through it at different times since it was new and I only run 91 octane

Welcome to FTE. I don't own a 5.4 truck, so I can't really comment on it. But I can give your thread a bump! Perhaps this thread should be moved to a different forum?

Any codes on the motor? Check engine light?

When was the last time a fuel filter was changed on it and have you check the fuel pressure on it?

No there is no check engine light on I'm not sure that I have ever changed the fuel filter with as many as I have it's hard to keep up. How would I go about checking the fuel pressure ?

This is the best place for 5.4 questions...I would start with checking fuel pressure as well. You can rent one from autozone

Yes it idels fine the only time it lugs is if it has to back up a little incline or is stopped n the mud or starting with a trailer on from idle to 12-1300 rpm it cuts out if i drop n neutral and gas it is fine but under a load until it gets to around 1500rpm it lugs and cuts out once it gets up n rpm it runs great like always plenty of power
