thanks for all the input guys. When I do all of this it will be a cab off job that is why I am waiting until I return to Colorado the DIY auto center on FT Carson is amazing compared to the one up here on FT Wainwright. Is the rear main a common leak problem on the 6.0 or should i not even bother with it. Don't want to separate engine from trans if I don't have to.

All I can say is some do and some don't.
If for some reason I have the transmission out between 200K and 250K
it will get done.

So what I am understanding is that I should stop being lazy and spend the couple of extra hours and $ and just do the seal before i have to deal with it later.
