Sounds good.

Any interest in selling your 6.6?

Your close enough that it may make economic sense....

I have had it for sale a couple different times, but no bites. I've just kept it. Not sure if you saw my videos of it running, and that was about 2 weeks after I bought it. The main things it's missing is the shutoff solenoid(was gone when I bought it), and turbo(was replacing that anyway). If the offer is good, I can meet you up in OR, at my parents house, 10 min. off I5.
I almost hate to sell it, because I'd like to put it in my 67. Almost bought a trans last week(MT643).

How much were you asking for it when you tried to sell it?

At least if you sold it to me, you would know it would be going toward something different than right back into an F700, and it would be documented right here on FTE.

I researched as much as I could about Twisted Brazilian, and from what I was reading, it has a Stock Bottom end, which is pretty damn promising.

Im buying Nevrenufhp's 6.6 at the end of December when I come back up through California.

It will sit around until I see what comes of the IDI P-pump build after its running. If the IDI Sharts the Bed pretty easily and its terminal, the 6.6 will go right in its place with the 60/68/.91 and 75/96/1.32 turbos that I will be running on the IDI.

If the IDI build is successful and mildly reliable, I will probably find another truck to swap the IDI into, something more appropriate for its use, like an 80-86 Regular cab, and Then swap the 6.6 into smogie.

Don't have any solid plans at this point, just things going through my head.

How much you end up spending on the pump and custom lines?

I bought a bus with a dt360 to harvest, and a 2008 6.4 f250 to put it in, thread is in general diesel i think.

Man I love those idi's, I forget about them, but then once in a blue moon someone drives by in one, and I'm like "i need that" lol.

The pump is together at the shop and supposed to be done today or tomorrow, so I don't have a total yet. However, I bought it from 91Dirtydiesel for $700, and spent $500 on a proper rotation Camshaft, Thats $1200 So far, and I really have no clue what the shop is going to nail me for. The lines are going to be about $500 from Scheid, I haven't ordered them yet, but I got a quote months ago, Ill worry about ordering those after I get the pump mounted. All the details are and will be posted in my thread in the IDI section.

Any updates? I just found a 6.6 Ford out of a Lockwood sod cutter sitting in one of our sheds. This one has a Simms pump though...

Lots of info here I saw how to turn the p pump up mine has 11mm plungers now what is everyone running for a turbo the stock one seems very small I was thinking about putting on a sx400 with a 98mm intake not sure what the .ar is but maybe do this over the stock turbo? Also could I change the Bosch injector nozzles to a Cummins nozzle from pics they look similar and I can pop test and shim at home

A few are running the SXE366, which has been decent for most. An S472-475 would probably be fine with bigger injectors. On that note, yes the Cummins nozzles do fit. The only difference is the spray angle on the 6BT is either 145 or 155, and the 6.6/7.8 is 150. Not a perfect match, but I'd certainly run em with a 5 degree difference. Back when I was doing nozzles, I looked all that up. They do have different shims, but otherwise, it's a go. Biggest stock Ford nozzles are a 5X13.
