6 volt Starter solenoid part number

I tried the search without any luck. Anyone got a part number for a starter solenoid for a 1949 M-47 Mercury pick up. The gremlins continue to haunt me !!! I'm going to have to order one tomorrow as I don't have the spare that I thought I had. Checked my notes and I installed my spare and didn't get a replacement. Will be happy when the last of the shakedown bugs go away. Loosing confidence in the old girl !!

Don't have a part number - I just searched NAPA, Mac's and a few other places when I bought mine earlier this month.

21A-11450 is the p/n. Beware of chinese repros, maybe all that's available now, they have a high failure rate. Couple of threads on here about them smoking off.

Have you looked on RockAuto.com. They show 2 for your Merc, both under $16. Of course, they're probably Chinese repros...

Bob Drake has two versions in their catalog, one with pushbutton, one without; 01A-11450 or 21A-11450-M "perfect copy of the original. Either style features excellent quality inside and out." $25

Thank you everyone for your replies. I used the 21A-11450 P/N and got one coming in tomorrow. Probably cheap Chinese.....
And yes fordf348 it is the same as Ford. The only difference is some trim parts on the Mercury.
