NEED HELP FROM FORUM.

I'm new to this forum, and I have a few questions.
I'm 16, and I get my G2 In October, and i have been try to chose between two trucks, a 1999-2003 F250 7.3L SD 4x4 either SuperCab or Crew Cab as i dont like reg cab for room reasons, i need the back seats.
The other option is 2005-2007 F-150 Supercrew 5.4L XLT or FX4. I would be making upgrades upgrades (Grill guards, Back racks, Lights, Lifts, flares etc.) I would be towing, Mostly 1-3 dirtbikes in the bed as well as a trailer, ATVs, Snowmobiles, (Driftcar/fieldcars on a car trailer--- 1-2 times a year max) and maybe a 26' Horse trailer about 2-4 times a year. But this truck would mostly be a daily driver around my city, from my house to school is about a 5-10 minute drive, but would be driving anywhere from 50-400kms on the weekends.
I love and want the diesel because of the towing power, sound, the bigger frame and look and the MPG is better with the diesel fuel and the stronger frame for lifting the truck, but is it worth all the trouble of EGR and DPF, regen cycles and all the plugging in and stuff.
Average Price/Kms
1999-2003 F-250 SD 7.3 4X4 - 4000-8000$ - 300,000-600,000kms
2005-2007 F-150 5.4L 4X4 or XLT - 4000-6500$ 150,000-230,00kms

I actually prefer the older body style, that's why I bought a 2002 instead of a 2008. That being said, the diesel will be a hog most of the time. Your not pulling that much and you don't need the added expenses and upkeep on an older truck. Why pay a premium for the diesel when it will have more miles and wear and tear ?
