Heads

Ok I searched and the threads I found are 5+ years old, not sure if the technology has changed, info or specs. Trying to decide on spending the money working my heads or buying edelbrocks for my .060 390. Comp cam 332-063, hooker headers, edelbrock performer intake and 750 cfm carb with a mallory billet distributor so far

Get a solid estimate on reworking the heads you have now, before deciding. You can easily spend what the Ed heads cost on old heads to get them in shape.

new heads, with modern chamber design, i feel its a big step up over the e-brocks. which are basically a med riser 428 head.
