Yea, that's true. I guess for me, if it hasn't had a tire mounted on it, it's new enough.

Well, that sucks! I hate it when places list a product and take your money and then can't deliver. That seems to be happening more and more.

i just put 6 of those on chip truck last week.
the more aggressive the tread, the higher the rolling resistance and lower the fuel economy,so tires in type and size are just like all the mods you do to your truck.they have pro's and cons.you need to pick what you think will suit your needs the best.
that said, the slightly better traction ltx a/t2 looks as if economy doesn't drop too much, but these prices are killer and i plan on a tru-trac for the rear this summer/fall too cus this dually sucks for traction anyway.

let 'er roll.chain up for traction.

Nice, those Alcoas! But the price is out of my budget. I'll have to stick with replicas and see what I can find locally.

So, found a set of American Racing wheels that I think may look nice on the OBS trucks. Check out the link and let me know what you think.....

I am thinking the model #AR 236882

Tires will be...Michelin LTX M/S2 265/75R/16 Load range E

American Racing - Wheels

Then there's the Eagle Alloys.....

Between the two, which do you prefer on our OBS trucks? I lean towards the slotted ones (American Racing) as opposed to the one with holes (Eagle)

Also, theer are many specs to chose from......so they fit as close to stock as possible, which are the preferred specs....backspacing and offset?

This is the one called for on their website for my truck......

I like both, but am partial to the Eagle Alloy version myself. To me it's a nice classic and clean look, but that's just my opinion.

Well, after going back and forth, the Eagle Alloys have won me over. Now, which ones (specs) will fit my 2WD truck....Backspace and offset?

Is there something wrong with your current wheels?
