After 10 days i just could not take it anymore! With the weather clearing and record high temps in the forecast i pulled the hose out tonight and gave her a bath. The truck will probably be parked most of the next 10 days and i'll be driving the '72 Oldsmobile and '69 Cougar, but at least it will be clean!
This looks mighty good to me.

Very lucky I get to play with all these awesome cars/trucks. Lots of great memories with every one of them.
Tonight i finally put a few miles on the F-150, this whole week was in the 70s/80s so i was driving the Oldsmobile and Cougar every day this last week.
Anyway, tonight we went down town for Summer Solstice festivities, the country band Lonestar put on an amazing concert.

We have officially 19 hours and 21 mins of "daylight" but if you include civil twilight we have 24 hours of light.
This was 1AM Friday night
So today i mowed the lawn and washed the F-150. It's been a year since i cleaned under the hood so i did that, needs it again to be perfect but much better then it was!
my sunday work in one pic
At family dinner tonight i was checking out my cousins new car, he picked up a slightly used Supercharged Jag.

Well I put the truck through its paces this weekend, Friday around noon we headed for Homer,AK about 215 miles from home give or take. I had not been down there since i was 6 years old..so 20 years ago! man time flies!
Full tank of gas i headed out, I only had one tow last summer to compare it to. I did better then expected MPG wise, came out to about 9.5 heading down, light traffic and taking it easy. The 6.2 has NO issue making swift passes even on the steepest grade for the slow moving drivers. most of the time it stayed in 5th I did have tow/haul activated. This thing sounds amazing at 4,500+ RPM!
Let me show you the end of Main Street
Great new york steak!
