Sirius Weather Map Issue

The Sirius weather loads fine on the two expanded map scale views but when I magnify to the lowest map scale setting, the radar picture never smooths out and stays blurry like it is not loading properly. I have a new 2014 F-250 with the MyFord Touch. My 2013 F-150 worked fine so I know this is an issue but I don't know how to fix it and I really hate to bring it into the dealer for something this minor. Any help is appreciated.

Interesting. The system in my 2013 Taurus, once I go past a certain level of zoom stays blurry. It's been that way as long as I've had the car. Almost 1.5 years now.

I do know that Sirius has been playing tricks with bandwidth. They may no longer be supplying enough resolution. I know for a fact that certain major roads here on Long Island are no longer displaying traffic (green/yellow/red) when they did when I first got the car.

I would initially say it's not likely a bandwidth issue because I just traded my 2013 F-150 in for this 2014 F-250. My F-150 was able to goto the lowest scale setting and get clear detailed weather map displays. Along the same lines, I'm having an issue where if I remote start the truck, the air conditioning is at a fixed, low setting and not adjustable to the environment like my 2013 was. I have to cycle the air conditioning to get it to return to auto mode. Just weird stuff compared to what I'm used to. I'm not sure if this is normal or not.

There is a setting for what the climate control gets set to when you auto-start, or at least, there is for my Taurus. Do you have a steering wheel with the gamepad style controls on the left side? It's buried in that menu somewhere.

That weather map difference is interesting, now it's got me wondering...

The remote start climate control settings are set correctly. Apparently there is a thread on here talking about this issue and has been noticed by more than one person. I guess a trip to the dealer will be in my future but I will wait until my first oil change comes due.

The Sirius weather deal is certainly not right so please wonder away. If you come up with something before I eventually get to the dealer let me know. I have about another 3000 miles or so to the oil change.
