Steering shaft spline

Does anyone know if all Ford steering wheel splines the same size.

Can I put say a 60's or 70's ford truck or car steering wheel on my stock column?

My column has been shortened so I need a wheel with about a 3-4" dish

I believe Ford changed the steering column in 61 when they went away from the integral steering shaft and box. Don't know if they changed the spline mount as well.

Don't know if they are different splines or diameters but Grant (steering wheels and adapters) list different part numbers for '55 and '75.
