wtb 1956 F600 Steering Box

Am looking to replace the worn box in my '56 F100.
My understanding is that the F600 box is a good option.
Thanks, Steve

If you think your gearbox is worn, just wait until you buy one a used box from a F350/600...it'll probably be worse.

What you should do is fix what you have, the steering shaft & worm, sector shaft, bearings, gasket and seal are available NOS

If you find a F600 they usually have low miles and with the different ratio they are a dream to drive when installed in the f100. I sent you a email about the f600 box I have

Yep. And I actually got a pm from a guy on here in the midwest- I think Ohio- who said he has 3 of these boxes, but I had not checked this site in a while and now he hasn't got back to me.
