OT: Daughters first truck!

Please poof this post if you deem necessary. Thanks

Just wanted to share this with the group whom has shared so much with me. Just never thought there was a vehicle left like this in the state of Michigan. Found this one on the side of the road for the oldest daughter who just got her licence a few months back. It has a straight six 300 and is as close to untouched as I've ever seen for a 1991, even came with all the original manuals. It has a few odds and ends that need work but the kid got out of there for $1500, which for it's condition seemed pretty good to me.

What do ya think?

Nice choice for a first vehicle. After years of trailering home the carnage left in the wake of my three Princess' early driving experiences, I wish I had started all of them in a truck.

Does she want to trade for a 02 7.3?!?!?!?! That's my first truck almost to a T, but mine was a 89 I6 mated to a C6. Got it in 2011 when I started driving and killed it last winter ...... But the tow truck driver about **** himself when I kicked the windshield out and drove it home 4 miles with no oil or coolant! Tougher than a **** brick house those things are tell her congrats!

^^^^^ I agree. Those things are indestructible. I had a 87 300-6 c6 4x4. I put front 3/4 ton coils in it and a few leafs from a 5 ton truck and used it as a 3/4 ton on more occasions than I care to remember. If it needed to be moved I'd use my truck. I could also out 4 wheel most of my friends with it and others were amazed by it capabilities. I the end it went with 220 k in my driveway due to a bad battery. Burnt right into the cab

Nice! The 300 I6 is an awesome engine and will last a long time. I used to have an '81 F150 w/300I6 years ago was a great truck.
