So.. thanks to Sam I scored this heavy duty 300 six out of Sacramento

It was in a PGE line truck

It had some interesting aspects

Oil was clean... like new
Motor was a ford reman
T98 had a pto on it (yea..added bonus) that ran a large winch)

Even had an old school throttle control on it that looks like it was adapted from the aircraft industry

negotiated down to 200.00 for all..

That's great! I'm glad it didn't go to the scrappers, the PTO alone is probably worth what you paid.

Now that I see it up close, that sure isn't an NP435, I guess my eyes were fooling me. I'll bet it's a t18, if memory serves they still had T98 cast on them for some reason.

I have all the parts assembled...

But

A f250 2x2...an f250 4x4...an f350 tow truck... And my other f600 service truck in farther along stages of restoration...

Stah tuned ..this will be a fun project
