thoughts on cab lights on an F150 4x4

Do you guys think of this as "rice"? I don't think any 1/2 ton truck comes with cab lights standard but what is the forum attitude from the experienced guys on this? I think if the truck is bigger than stock it's ok but I'm still not sure I like the look of it unless it's a pretty big looking truck or an HD truck. Thoughts?

I've always liked the looks of cab lights on any of the trucks when done correctly. Grew up around tractor-trailers though so I guess that makes me kinda biased.

Cab lights were a factory option from a bronco thru a SRW f350. SO why not

I think clearance lights on pickups are dumb, you(or anyone else) can have the ones off my F350s if you come patch the holes.

Only reason for them is if you have to have them by law, anything over 8' wide IIRC.

Same goes for visors, I got 2 of those I haven't taken off yet cause I haven't found the time to patch the holes.

That seems worth it. $50 in lights and harness for $500 with of body work

He didn't say how he wanted it patched. Roll of aluminum roof flashing, tube of Phenoseal, done!

Anyway, three of the four F150s I've owned had cab lights. My Centurion does not, but it's on the list of things to do.

I personally like the look of cab lights on trucks, more so on the bigger ones. It is one of the mods I have planned for my F150 once I get the time and $$$.
