Saw an old F5

I was in Nelson Georgia yesterday and I saw this old F5 sitting by the side of the road. Just curious if anyone knows this truck.

It looks pretty old and tired. From what I can see it doesn't look like there is much to save unless there is something better looking under the hood. Isn't Nelson part of the land owned by the Georgia Marble Co.?

Thanks for the pictures though John.

It looks like an old rusty hood spring said up, and Bubba said down. Man, how on earth could somebody be completely oblivious to a problem and destroy a hood like that.

The hood on one of my parts trucks was the same way. The hood brace rusting off of the hood also doesnt help that situation.

This is right down the road from Georgia Marble (now Blueridge Marble). I think nelson is just off the Tate family property (where the former Georgia Marble had their quarry)
