yeah, its looking more and more I may go that way. I actually just found one on CL. its off a cummins, but looks to be the same as this one I've been eyeing up for a few days now: Borg Warner S300SX3 S366 66MM .91 A/R
the CL one supposedly has just 1500 miles on it. if I can get it for ~$400 I may just do it.
can anyone fill me in on what specs may work best on our trucks with my proposed setup? it seems like there are alot of options in terms of housings, turbines, compressors, etc. again, I'm planning on stage 2's, T500, e-fuel and a TS chip. and obviously the 6637 intake and the biggest DP I can make fit.
like a lot of people, I'm looking to make power, but also for reasonably quick spool up.
here's the specs on the one in the link above:
Wheel Dimensions:
•Compressor: 66 mm inducer / 91.4mm exducer, with Extended Tip Technology.
•Turbine: 80 mm inducer / 73 mm exducer.
Housings:
•Compressor: Large 4.00" ported anti-surge air inlet / 3.00" charge pipe outlet
•Turbine: .91 A/R Twin Scroll, with 'T4-style', divided entry, and 4.21" v-band discharge.
and here's another similar one on the same site. although, this is an S360 instead of S366 - looks like same housing just smaller guts inside?
Wheel Dimensions:
•Compressor: 60 mm inducer / 83.5 exducer, with exclusive Extended Tip Technology.
•Turbine: 76.2 mm inducer / 67.5 mm exducer. Cast in Inconel 713 for high-temperature operation.

Thanks Nick but I don't have it licked. Its better then it ever has been but live tuning would be great. I've got three chips, gear head, Wildman, and no limit. Gear head will give me free reburns but as soon as I installed his chip and put it into stock heavy tow mode (which they called it), I had to put my foot on the floor to get it to take off. I called him and he said that heavy tow was stock tunes. WHAT???? I asked him if he expected me to tow 18K in stock mode. He then said to use economy or street mode. This completely turned me off. His chip is laying on the floor behind my back seat. Wildman has great power and I used it a lot until after three reburns, he still wouldn't smooth out the cruise, its jerky. Also, right from the start with just barely touching the pedal it would blow out a ton of black smoke even if you were trying to take off easy. I then reverted to my old No Limit chip in which I had asked him to turn up the power on but had never tried it. That's the chip I'm running now and it works real well. I have a smooth cruise and great power. Not as good as Wildman's but still as good as its going to get without real high EGT's. The smoke isn't near as bad and the higher shift points in heavy tow mode and almost perfect. The rest of the positions are a lot lower shift points which is fine if your not towing heavy. I still after all these years want live tuning though.

seriously - thanks for the offer, though.
now i need to start figuring on my DIY mounts and up pipes though. i can make the mount easy enough, but the up-pipes will be trickier. i may actually try bending up the sections at work. not sure if we have a 2" die with a tight enough radius though...
