Ford Sales Down, But It’s Not a Big Deal
On July 1st, Ford Motor Company released information on their sales to date and it has made a down-turn from last year. However, it’s coming as no surprise and Ford’s Sales Analyst, Erich Merkle says it was expected.
Here are some notes from Ford’s June 2014 announcement. Ford sold 222,064 vehicles in June of 2014 and, when compared to June 2013, it was a six-percent loss.
However, when they split retail versus fleet Sales, retail was only a five-percent loss while fleet was down seven-percent. Why such a loss? You can put some of the blame on the new F-Series.

What do you think? Time to worry or it's no biggie?

My latest edition of Truck Trend magazine also stated that Ford is currently offering the lowest incentives on trucks as they struggle to maintain an inventory that will allow them to retool for the 2015 MY.
The F-150 is all new for 2015 and the superduty is all new for 2016. Ford is anticipating huge sales gains with new models.

I think most new car sales are down except for GM----as much as that horrifies the Blue Oval loyalists they might be almost giving them away, trying to overcome their massive recalls?

gm isn't down as they practice the same stupid loan practices that got them into the financial trouble to begin with . seen it time and time again , and work with a guy who has had two repo's of gm trucks in the last year and a half , but still the gm dealers find ways to refinance him and others to make a sale . as far as ford goes , i'm a life long lover of our chosen make , but the current crop of wrond wheel drive eco turds { if it isn't a v8 and rear wheel drive it ain't worth buying new } and most of the trucks deisgns are F-UGLY and have no appeal to me at all as well as even if i wander onto the lot with new car fever it doesn't take long after looking at all the electronic gibberish i talk myself out of it rather easily . all the designers are freaking crack addicts that watch japanese anime all day and it shows in the styling !!!!!!!!!!!!!
