1950 F1 4 spd nonsyncho transmission

I removed this transmission from a 1950 F1 and would like to know its origin. It is not original to the 1950. It supposedly came out of a 1948 Ford F1. There are several numbers on the top and right side. On the top front is 8 8RC 55002 (above what looks like an inspection plate). On top behind the shifter is G8T 7222. On the top to the right of the shifter is DG&M. On the right side is OIT-7006, below that is DG&M, and below that is N4.
A couple of questions for anyone that might know: when was this transmission made? Is there a source for parts? Any gasket kit available? Any other information?
Thanks for any info you can provide.

The spur gear transmissions Ford used in that era were Warner Gear T9s. Joblot has gasket kits. May have other parts as well. Bearings can be cross-referenced at any bearing house.
