96 302 water leak Need Help!!

Just bought my first truck quite excited but there is a water leak I can't figure out. It's leaking above and behind the water pump but below where the a/c compressor would sit. I don't have to turn it over just pour the water in the radiator as if I was to fill it up and after about a litre it starts running down onto the ground. I replaced the water pump and seals checked all the hoses but it feels like it's coming out of the engine. Any ideas?

A couple of places where it can be leaking is the timing cover, a coolant passage in the intake manifold, or a core plug on the end of the head. Since it leaks as soon as you pour water in, can you try to trace the leak? Maybe remove some of the front accessories to see better.

Intake is probably the most likely from the location.

Check all the coolant hose clamps. Bet that's what it is. Specially look at the small 3/8" line that cools the throttle body.
