1995 F250 shuts down after running 45 mins.
So I have 1995 F250, turbo diesel, with 175,000 miles on it. My problems with it is that after I run it for 45 mins or so, and the temp goes a bit above 1/4 on the gauge. The engine shuts down. I have had to pull over the side of the road and let it cool down, at which point it will turn on again with out a problem. But then a again when the engine heats up a bit, it shuts down again. It does this around every 45 mins of driving.
I recently changed the fuel pump on it, and the main filter. As well a censor for the switch vacuum from the fuel filter housing.
I have no idea what it could be. Has this happen to anyone? Or does anyone have an idea on what it could be that's causing this?
If any one has any insights on this I would appreciate any feed back.

The camshaft position sensor likes to go out on these and it can cause all sorts of weirdness. Replace yours, they're relatively cheap. Only use a Ford Motorcraft or International sensor, though, because the aftermarket versions of these don't live very long and are known to have been DOA out of the box. Takes about 10 minutes to change.
