Wink '08 REAR BUMPER??

I scored a perfect CHROME REAR '08 REAR bumper yesterday for $150.00.

NO sensors (Don't need them on my LATE '99)

Has tag lights with wireing!!

NOW: (I haven't looked under my truck yet) it seems that the hole for the spare tire hoist is on the opposite side from the '99 bumper.

IS this something I can change/swap side to side??

I can't use the spare with my truck (rolling on 37's) so I didn't bother checking to see if the bumper could be modified before I mounted the one on my truck.

My spare has been in the bed since the cable broke down under, so I never gave it two thoughts when I put my 08 bumper on.

They are on the opposite sides, but I believe the 08+ are
plastic where the license plate is unlike the 99-07. So just get out he drill bit or the step bit.

I would just do what 12pump said. Eventually I will need to do the same as I have an 08 bumper on mine.

After you drill the hole get a black firewall grommet and stick it in there to finish it off.

And before that, don't forget to hit the freshly drilled hole with some clear spray paint... don't want rust on your perfect new bumper.
